DAY 1
Milan & Verona
After you arrival at Milan’s APT, you’ll be transferred to Verona. Check-in at the booked hotel and free time to relax and individual activities. Dinner and overnight at the booked hotel.
DAY 2
Verona
This day will be dedicated to the discovery of Verona, with a guided city tour. Mostly known for Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”, Verona is a fascinating city rich in culture and history. Your tour will also include the visit of San Zeno Basilica, the finest church in Verona and one of the most important Romanesque churches in Northern Italy. In the afternoon, you will attend an iconic wine-tasting in Valpolicella area. Dinner and overnight at the booked hotel.
DAY 3
Vicenza
Today you will visit Vicenza, which is a very lovely town to visit, with a beautiful town centre and attractive villas and viewpoints in the hills a short walk away. You will also visit Palladium’s Olympic Theatre (Teatro Olimpico). Built between 1580 – 1585, the Olimpic Theatre was the last architectural project for Andrea Palladio, a famous archictect of the Italian Renaissance. After the visit, free time for lunch and shopping or individual activities. In the late afternoon, transfer back to the hotel with dinner and accommodation.
DAY 4
Innsbruck
After breakfast, transfer to Salzburg with a stop in Innsbruck. Innsbruck’s main landmark is surely the Golden Roof and its 2,738 gold-plated copper tiles. Made for Emperor Maximilian I in the early 15th century, it served as a royal box where he could sit in luxury. Arrival in Salzburg in the late afternoon and check-in at the booked hotel with overnight.
DAY 5
Salzburg
Day at disposal for an individual discovery of Salzburg, with the possibility to enjoy extra activites planned by us. Salzburg means “salt fortress”, because for thousands of years, salt has been mined from the area around Salzburg. The city is also famous for its baroque architecture that can be seen throughout the old town. Overnight at the booked hotel.
DAY 6
Mozart’s birthouse
Meet with the local guide at the hotel for the guided tour of the city. The tour will also include the visit of Mozart’s birthouse, as the famous musician was born the 27th January 1756 right in Salzburg. Afternoon at disposal. Dinner will be served in an typical restaurant. Overnight at the booked hotel.
DAY 7
Prien & island of Herrenchiemsee
After breakfast, departure for Germany. Stop in Prien for the visit of the lovely Lake Chiem and enjoy a boat ride to island of Herrenchiemsee. Once there, you’ll visit the New Palace of Herrenchiemsee, one of the many castles of king Ludwig II of Bavaria. Check-in at the booked hotel in Munich with overnight.
DAY 8
Munich
Guided tour of Munich, the capital of Bavaria. You will not miss to see Marienplatz, Munich’s largest church and a major landmark of the city and other iconic buildings like the neo-Gothic Town Hall. Free time in the afternoon. Farewell dinner at a typical Bavarian restaurant. Overnight at the booked hotel.
DAY 9
Arrivederci!
After breakfast, transfer out from the hotel to Munich APT for your flight back.
